Orders are dispatched from Lisbon, Portugal. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment is completed.
1. Destinations, costs and delivery times

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and run from the date of dispatch. They are not guaranteed.
Orders to destinations not listed above cannot currently be accepted. Enquiries regarding other destinations may be sent to hello@madetobenear.com.
2. Dispatch
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days of payment, excluding weekends and public holidays in Portugal. Orders are sent by CTT.
Where an order cannot be dispatched within that period, the customer will be informed by email.
3. Tracking
A confirmation email is sent when the order is dispatched, containing the tracking reference where the service used provides one.
4. Delivery and risk
Risk in the goods passes to the customer when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer, takes physical possession of them.
Where delivery cannot be completed because the address supplied is incomplete or incorrect, or because the parcel is not collected within the period allowed by the carrier, the order is returned to the sender. The customer will be contacted to arrange redelivery, the cost of which is borne by the customer.
5. Taxes
Prices are final and no value added tax is added at checkout, as the seller's activity is covered by the Portuguese VAT exemption under article 53 of the CIVA. No further tax is payable.
6. Delays
The seller is not liable for delays caused by the carrier, by customs authorities or by other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Where a delay is substantial, the customer may cancel the order and obtain a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale.
7. Lost or damaged parcels
Where a parcel does not arrive or arrives damaged, the customer should notify the seller by email at hello@madetobenear.com. Goods that do not conform to the contract are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, at no cost to the customer.
