NEAR is a small phrase-based design studio.
Each phrase is quiet enough to live in,
and sharp enough that you'd catch yourself reading it twice.
Some moments feel soft and introspective, others feel playful,
tense, or a little confrontational.
The t-shirts look lived-in from day one,
like they've already been somewhere.

Hello, I'm Angelina Suchkova. I write the phrases you see on the
t-shirts.
I'm a big fan of philosophy, existentialism and reading, so it started
with collecting sentences that caught my attention, and there are a
bunch of thoughts in my notes. Clothes carry a mood or a feeling, and
I'd like to pass this on to people — so the phrases needed a form, and
I chose t-shirts to be that form.
I chose a production partner in the north of Portugal because of their
sustainable practices and organic materials, and everything is made in
micro drops. I check the fabric and the print on each piece before
making it available for sale.
